"comforted by the thought that even when I can’t see the way clearly, it’s still worth it to keep going." This couldn't be more timely. What a beautiful metaphor and what mesmerizing photos. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Lovely, Allie. We had a foggy day here on the Danish coast. Sweden, and even Hven, were invisible and the border between sky and sea vanished quickly. Several hundred geese had landed in a small bight, stocking up on food and resting, forming floating islands as they bobbed along. And scattered in smaller groups, white swans - hundreds of them - created points of light.
Beautiful images and contemplations. The fog carries a special mood, enchanting and intimate, it reminds me that the veil is always close and to trust the unseen path. I felt inclined to share my recent poem that carries a similar message and feeling. Hope you’ll give it a read. 🙏🏼
Thank you for this beautifully written piece and for sharing these fairy-tale-like photos! The mystery of life, how cut off from its wonder most of us are…
Those photos are beautiful. Eclectic and also horror-ish. And then I stumbled upon your line and I like was YESSSSS. Total vibe match there—> “Old stories say fog blurs the line between worlds, that wandering souls drift within it. Maybe that’s why it always feels as though something unseen walks beside me, and sometimes, within me too.“
Love it. Got yourself a new sub, I’m Jules! Nice to meet you.
“Maybe that’s what fog is for: to remind me that I rarely see that far ahead, yet I must go on anyway.” 🖤🖤 yes. Beautiful photos, you’re taking us there too.
